I know I posted this info on the "Thought Provoking" thread sometime last Spring, I think, and meant to post this again before Christmas.
SS, I watched this video series twice more, over the holidays, with my neat (no ice, no water) Jack Daniel's in hand. I have since switched to Bailey's since my JD ran out and have not had time to get to the package store!
A truly amazing video presentation below… I recommend everyone watch it.
A completely scientific verification of the Star of Bethlehem. Takes away a lot of the speculation that it is just a nice story but couldn't be true.
Christmas should probably be celebrated on the birth of Jesus’ entry into the world on the real date of his birth, which appears to be September 11th, 3 B.C., (which is also Rosh Hashanah of that year, the Feast of Trumpets, in the ancient Israelite calendar).
The Catholic church actually thought Christ’s birth was in September and his conception in December. But then they go and placate Sun god worshipers and others in order to compromise with them and accept the day(s) of the Sun un-godly worship, in December, to be set as Jesus’ birthday in exchange for possibly converting them in return. My guess is they got short changed in the deal because their motivation was to control those people, not convert them.
Well, okay, a date change might not be that successful…
Hard to teach old dogs new tricks.
This is an exceptionally strong case for the true date of His birth and His death is found in the links at the below. They are based on NASA astronomical data and software that very accurately pinpoints the celestial bodies and their movements through time. That is the only way they are able to accurately send spaceships to the moon, planets, and beyond with impeccable precision. They use the same calculations to target future movements and get a spaceship to it's destination without anyone getting "lost in space" yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwHP5vPKXTg&feature=relatedI stand amazed at how few viewings of these videos have been made. You can see the counts.
Late in the presentation he actually shows what the day of Jesus’ crucifixion would have looked like if you were standing on the moon, if in fact he has the correct date. I have seen other presentations that, using NASA lunar data, place His death within a week of the date used here based on Daniel’s prophecy of 69 of the 70 weeks. Premise is that a lunar blood moon eclipse took place from the 6th to 9th hours on that day. He also shows the constellations, in a magnificent alignment, from the point of view on the moon. The amazing things they can do with scientific software programming!
Just a handful of the verses that mention the celestial bodies:
Luke 21:11 (New King James Version) 11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
Luke 21:25-26 (New King James Version) 25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Job 9:8-9 (New King James Version) 8 He alone spreads out the heavens, And treads on the waves of the sea; 9 He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;
Genesis 1:14 (New King James Version) 14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;
Psalm 19:1-4 (New King James Version) 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line[a] has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world.
Matthew 2 (New King James Version) 1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
