I'm somewhat concerned that I'm tempted to sell everything and buy Hathor. That can't be a good sign. But they evidently have a lot of uranium in the ground. I did buy a little more this afternoon, but I'm not betting the house yet. It's also troubling that Hathor is getting more attention on this board, although a lot of that is me. I'm hoping someone will talk me out of making a big bet on this.

good news from technician Merv

As far as the short term is concerned, well the Index is above its moving average line and the line has just turned upwards. The momentum indicator is moving upwards, above its trigger line, but still just slightly below its neutral line. Short term the rating has now turned to the BULLISH side. We just need the Index to close above recent highs, at the 224 mark to have things look even better.

The direction of least resistance is now to the up side.

Maybe it's not jus t HAT that may get a boost. We've all been through this many times though. I continue to purchase selectivly, with broad divesrsification and cautiously

Thanks for that YC.... I was just looking up some other stuff on them....

Great numbers on the results, but I dont like how deep the deposits are as accessing would be pretty costly in a low spot price environment I would think...errrr guess.

I was looking at their management team and bio's, frankly their resume's were underwhelming, but hey looks like they have some real good resources and maybe they are sharp as whips, IDK, just didn't see great "big time" associations with their managment and directors FWIW.

BF,

Have you run across any information that might lead you to know how a company would have to mine those deposits?  in-situ, deep shafts like Cameco, strip?

Thanks!

YC.....No I haven't.  I definately need to get up to speed on costs of different types of mining.  Open to all for feedback on this!!!

While I like ISL/ISR mining because it is supposed to be cost effective and not leave behind tailings, there seems to be alot of resistance around the acquifer issues.  Also not sure about the cost effectiveness of such mining vs. open pit surface mining.

I am definately guessing!  But I THINK that open pit surface mining must be cheaper than ISL and politically easier.

I have tried to keep different types of miners in my portfolio (diversification) since I got in this mess, but as you know, until recently bankable feasibilities were less important (at least to me) because of the high spot prices.

Maybe I am over-reacting to this issue, but my hunch is that in this environment the location (depth) is critical, as even quality resources of near term producers is not enough to actually make them producers.  This is why I like only existing producers and explorers.  I think the "near term" guys are dead in this environment, unless they get taken out.

But clearly WTFDIK.

Thanks YC....Those are some pretty serious drilling numbers they put out there.  I still watch the U's closely, but must admit I haven't done enough DD on Hathor.

Mark me down as still a believer in the long term fundamentals of uranium.  In it for the LONG multi year (decade) haul.

I keep trying to buy em falling sell em (parts) going up and let em fall back to support levels to buy em again.

As you know, there have been some good moves this year, hopefully they keep on coming, go broad market!!!

Watchin my Aussie miners very closely right now, they are getting overbought, might be time to lighten up a bit on any weakness.

BF,

The vote in Australia was closer this year but not close enough to positively affect the miners there.

If you read the link I posted yesterday then you know Hathor drilled more than 30,000 meters.  It really takes quite some financial resources to do that.

I think they are the best junior out there right now and well capitalized.  Obviously they still believe in the U story and planning for the future.

I would hold the Aussie's if you haven't lost too much or possibly sell and buy back in at lower prices when the world economy goes in the tank soon.

I've preached this one for a long time guys.  It is one of the few stocks that held up through the bad weather and they have the goods, big time.

I got back in a few months ago at 1.70 and it has been good but I am holding onto it this time.  But remember!  I am the one that loaded up on Cash Minerals at less than .05 in late fall 08 !!!  and still wiping egg off my face.

http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=HAT.V+Interactive#symbol=HAT.V;range=2y

Talked to their staff a while ago and they are coming out with huge updates in the coming months.  Their resources are at the inferred stage right now.  I also talked with them about water issues (like Cameco and cigar lake) but they believe it is a non issue because their intercepts are far nearer to the surface and the lake it is near is only 10 feet deep.  Environmental studies to come out soon as well.

They are prospects for property acquisition by Cameco, Areva, or Denison as those are the producers/near term producers in the local area.

Speaking of AREVA is a perfect buy right now, IMHO.  They lost 95% off their stock value since the 08 highs and

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Areva

According to the company official website, AREVA realized €13.16 billion in sales revenue in 2008 and €417 million in operating income.[3] However, AREVA had 6.2 billion euros of net debt at the end of 2009.[4] In June 2010, Standard & Poor's downgraded AREVA’s debt rating to BBB+ due to weakened profitability following a further € 400 million provision for the Olkiluoto-3 over-running European Pressurized Reactor build.[5] In July 2010, the French government authorised a 15% capital increase at AREVA, in which Électricité de France (EDF) could raise its stake from 2.4% to 7%.[6]

I think it has no where to go but up and the potential to do it big.

But I am not going to buy it.

Do you own DD.
