SW got me to thinking, once again, so I checked on www.mercola.com to see what the latest that Doc M has to report about the swine flu:

Check this out!  Anytime I even feel like I might even be slightly suspicious I am going under the weather, I eat raw garlic chopped in salsa.  Turns out there are two chemicals that form something called Allicin when garlic is crushed.  Strongest anti-viral known to man:

I never get sick.  I rode out to NC and PA in a round trip in July and my sinuses started getting dry from all the air conditioning in my 5 day trip and when that happens the viruses love dry sinuses.

So, when I get back the first thing I do is have my raw garlic salsa for the next 2-3 days and no sickness comes on.  All I know is it works.

  Thanks for the link to that medical site but within 5 seconds of reading the first couple of sentences the pricks slap up a box and say "to finish reading the article please sign in or register"  "We promise we will not spam you"...................... NO BUT their buddies and affiliates will.  Places like that piss me off to the max.  Maybe they have information of value maybe they don't.  I will never know due to their policies of data mining. If I get curious enough I will give em my bogus e-mail address I reserve for crap sites like that.  I already have to clean cookies off my machine daily.

  Sorry for the rant but I despise spammers and data miners that build a demographic file on me.  you should hear me every time the cashier at Von's, Smith's and Albertson's tell me "Thank you Mr. ***** you just save $xxx for using your Von's card.  Oh, for crying out loud .... would anyone in their right mind pay $29 for that pack of steaks that you just charged me $9 for and you have the gall to tell me I just "SAVED" $20 friggin dollars Because I am a MEMBER of some VON's club.  I belong to an exclusive group?  There is exclusivity here?  Is this Thailand with two prices, one for locals and one for foreigners? Are the deaths from the swine flu or from the vaccine?

My wife and I do not know.   But, back in 2004, during the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) panic, my healthy wife voluntarily took a vaccine to protect herself.  A couple of months later, she had her first and only miscarriage (later on, she had two kids).  Needless to say, this fall, we will not be rushing out our family to get the vaccine any time soon.
