Great find SW.
All things being true....
Surely he shouldn't have needed to be cajoled into going after Bin laden.
There shouldn't have been one moments hesitation. “What ever it takes, just get the bastard.”
Indecision is the very last thing you expect from the leader of any country let alone the USA.

Big family celebration tomorrow. So I'll be otherwise engaged.

Just a thought.....
Surely a good Islamic Fundamentalist wife would have known her place and remained three steps behind Bin Laden when the Special Forces broke into the room?
Good night all.

SS, bear in mind that this IS the internet, and I have seen some really weird stuff polished up to convince anyone of anything. You just never know when “insiders” or “confidential sources” are nothing more that vivid imaginations or worse.
In this case it does seem to fit but, like anything else, I just file it away for use later to see if any of the pieces of knowns fit into the questionable.
On the “good Wife” thing unless you were the person entering the room, it would be next to impossible to get the nature or intent of her actions. A close second might be the video from the helmet/body cam’s on the team members. He may have taken her and pushed/shoved her in the way to parry the entrance in order to go for a weapon. He was on the third floor and there is likely no way he didn’t hear some of the commotion going on out there. Which begs the question why did he not have arms at the ready when entrance was made into his room. Heck, we can speculate ad nauseam but It really serves no purpose other than conversation. I doubt there will be any hearings or inquest in this case.
I think we have coddled and tip toed around the Paki’s far too long. I know it’s been several occasions over the last few years 8-10 where I have said our major concern/threat is Pakistan. I seem to remember the Mumbai raid originated there and by Islamic extremist. When they and India start back up, who are we going to side with? And more importantly why?
I find it very difficult to believe that UBL was residing in that house all these years and no one in the Paki government had no idea he was in the country and residing in that compound.
Having said all that, If the Pakistan SF had made a covert raid here in the US I would be absolutely livid as a citizen. Calling it an act of war and demanding my politicians take appropriate action. So I understand the feelings and watch closely as to where this might lead our relationship with this country. Outside of killing UBL I don’t see much upside to any of this other than exposing the true nature of our relationship with some of the nations in that part of the world.
I will be supporting Ron Paul at this point as I don’t see our stationing of troops all over the world as productive or even in the interest of freedom. We should first make certain that our freedoms domestically are protected our borders secure and our citizens in need tended to before one single cent is committed to any other interest.
I mentioned that I would be waiting for Hati, the nations of south Asia, Africa and all the others to which we have sent BILLIONS in time of need, to offer the people affected by last months weather some help. I’m still waiting.
Simply put we need to pull our horns in and begin sharpening them up.

Hi SW
I agree...
Internet content is like statistics. You can manipulate the content to make a case to support any point of view. Information and disinformation. Facts, lies and half truths.
It's not helped when you can't trust politicians and other people who should be there to represent our best interests.
We've been down the Bernanke route many times, but I'll give him a break for once.......
Jean-Claude Juncker (The Chairman of the European Financial Committee)
Said......
"When it becomes serious, you have to lie,"
and
“I'm for secret, dark debates”
It's very difficult to get to the truth when even a “public servant” openly admits that he would/will lie, and conceal the truth from you.
Which is why I come here (BHSH) to bounce these things off you guys in order to formulate some sort of informed opinion.
As I've mentioned before I'm a basically uneducated person. Self taught so I've nobody to blame but myself.

I agree with you there to. Put affairs in order at home first. A good proportion of aid never gets to the place it was was raised to help anyway. You wouldn't see the suffering on TV, whilst others in the same country live in opulence if it did. It's propping up many unjust regimes, and discouraging other people from doing things to help themselves. They've been raising money for the same poor countries as long as I can remember. We should have witnessed a difference by now.
The Bin Laden wife thing was a (failed) attempt to inject humour, by the way..

Looking at History from a Different Perspective
Perhaps it is an over-simplification: But what about looking upon the US and the West as the terrorist nations? After all, who is spending trillions of dollars on a military industrial complex? The US and NATO are. What are the Great Powers doing in the Middle East? Are they there just because of petroleum or are they also at war with Islam? I suggest the West is also at war with Islam.
So to simplify our attempt at understanding what history is all about, let’s just say the West is at war with Islam. Let’s call a spade a spade.
The 9/11 crisis gave new impetus to the War against Islam. What is the US doing in Iraq and in Afghanistan and now with bin Laden, in Pakistan? Not to forget Libya. Who is making terror against whom? Who are the real terrorists? Who is spending the most money on weapons of mass destruction?
Now we are being overwhelmed with a “hate Obama bin Laden” mood as the world media hammers the assassination subject to death. But the main concern of the US is not with bin Laden but mainly with humiliating Pakistan and provoking and challenging Islam, so as to create a worthy foil for the West to do battle with, perhaps all-out war, at some future date.
Islam has been asleep now for several centuries. If the West keeps prodding Islam, keeps humiliating Islam, keeps attacking and bombing Islamic countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Pakistan and so on, keeps provoking and challenging Islam, surely Islam is going to wake up and unite one of these days? Islam is suffering from an inferiority complex.
Once, centuries ago, Islam was a dynamic historical and religious force in the world. That was centuries ago, when Islam spread like wildfire throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
But when Islam attempted to conquer Europe and failed, Islam suffered not just a military defeat but a psychological and moral defeat as well. The Islamic morale was crushed by the European defeat and Islam has never to this day recovered from that defeat. The defeat of Islam by Europe plunged Islam into a great psychological depression from which Islam has still not recovered. The European defeat of Islam demolished the spirit and the will of Islam and Islam has been in “sleep mode” ever since.
Islam tried three times to defeat Europe: Poitiers, 732, and Vienna 1588 & 1683. Islam tried to conquer Western Europe by force of arms and each time they were turned back—just. Ever since those defeats in Europe, Islam has been suffering from an inferiority complex.
The West, by provocation and challenge and humiliation, is attempting to awaken Islam from its sleep mode so as to be a worthy foil in a future world skirmish.
The war against Islam got new impetus with the 9/11 incident which some compare to the German Reichstag fire which helped consolidate Hitler’s rise to power:
“In February 1933, only a month after Hitler became Chancellor, the Reichstag
Parliament building mysteriously burnt to the ground. Hitler claimed that the
communists were responsible and called fresh elections. The Nazis won a record
amount of seats. Hitler was now in a position to pass whatever laws he wished…”
Likewise, because of 9/11, in the US, Homeland Security laws of fear and intimidation have been passed to turn the US into a near dictatorship, and war has been visited upon various Islamic countries as a direct consequence of 9/11.
The question is: Are we on the verge of a World War III?

It was broken on Alex Jones this past week that OBL/UBL was dead 10 years ago.
And this by none other than the guy that served as the basis of the character Jack Ryan in Tom Clancy's novels:

There are several segments in this interview.
He is a heavy hitter!

Gaddafi killed.

Syria next.
Assad must resign, says Obama.

BUT
What happens after the Middle East has been handed over to the Muslim Brotherhood, or other radical Islamists?
They may rest in hell, but sometimes it's a case of "Better the Devil you know."
