YC your quotes in the <<--->>

<< Calling them "religious nut cases" or extremists, or even terrorists, is exactly what the liberal left media and politicians would want us to do and we fall into their "intellectual trap" which serves only to disguise the real facts.>>

OK so what are the real facts?  I started watching the two videos and nothing I haven’t heard before so I need your clarification Pls.

<<It is a mistake to refer to those who burned people at the stake because they were thought to be witches, no matter which century they came from, as religious nut cases whether they were on the right or the left of religiously defined principles.>>

As you said they are murderers, and they murdered innocent people based on belief in something that does not exist, possession of some supernatural power granted from the Devil.  The Devil represents the evil side in Christian bias.  Ergo, since these people were deemed by others to be under the Devils influence they had to die.  The manner of death was nothing more than a ritual in itself, founded in some assholes interpretation of religious documents and procedures in the past.  Religion was involved and the act was insane therefore religious nut cases, left, right or center.

<< The Muslim "religion" is an entirely different matter.  Their so called "religion" prescribes murder of innocents and indiscriminate murder at that as well as many other heinous acts which we, in a free Judeo-Christian structured society, have determined illegal.>>

So I guess since we must treat the Muslim “religion” as entirely different from “The others” and since the Judeo-Christian “structured society” has determined religiously proscribed murder of What they call infidels and the penalty for that is?  So is it up to the Judeo-Christian to carry out the penalty?  That would mean you murder them, so what’s the difference.  One religious group taking out another religious group.
This is part of the reason I don’t subscribe to any of it.  This “My God is better than your God” business needs to stop.

When one considers the size of the universe, how can these religious leaders dare pretend to preach the word of the maker?  Sorry, none of it makes any sense to me.

Christianity is not without guilt in the slaughter of human life. Christianity is full of violence.  The Crusades were Christian expeditions launched against rival religions. The fact there is heaven for believers and hell for non believers sounds violent to me, the only way to send non believer is for them to die sounds violent to me.  Even though persecuted in the early days,  Christians treated pagans with as much contempt and violence as they had experienced. The inquisition follows that and modern day Christian leaders use the Fear of God to keep the flock intact.  Of late religious NUT CASES have bombed abortion clinics and murdered Doctors.  Is this not violence due to religious belief?    Pat Robinson tells the world that cities and states  will face the wrath of God if they don’t discriminate against gays.  (I don’t like them either but don’t see the righteousness in eliminating them.

<<Some might say they need a demon cast out but that is another discussion.>>

You are kidding  ….. right?

SW, I love that picture!!!  Where do you find this stuff?

I will not argue with you one iota that evil people have used what they call "Christianity" to do just that, evil.

For the most part the Crusades were against Muslim aggression.  But go a little further back in time and there is the Roman aggression towards the Arabs.  Some group somewhere is always going around trying to conquer the world in the name of something.

My point can be reduced to simply that one cannot read the New Testament and get anything out of it that says to go murder innocent people no matter what their beliefs.  Nothing in there that says it's okay to go murder people using naked, unprovoked aggression for whatever purpose.  Nothing in there that promotes harming anyone.

The Koran, however, does in fact read that way.

It's author was a murderer.

That is why there is Muslim violence in almost every country in this world.  Violent thought, in Islam, spreads like a cancer and you never know where it will break out next.

And as far as the witches, I have no first hand experience in such matters!  I just threw that in there for a laugh...
