Been watching market effects this morning after the North Korean's shelled that island.

What provoked that?   The FOMC notes are coming out today I think should be lots of action just prior to the holidays and then Here come the commies in North K.   Somebody better get their Chinese handlers off in a corner and 'splain some things to these idiots.

Now there's talk of re-arming the Japs and boosting up the South.   Never a dull moment.

Here's one comment from a South Korea lawmaker:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20101124/wl_nm/us_korea_north1

Quote
"I am sorry that the government has not carried out ruthless bombing through jet fighters during the North's second round of shelling," said Kim Jang-soo, a lawmaker of ruling Grand National Party and a former defense minister.

Tuesday's attack was the heaviest in the region since the Korean War ended in 1953, and marked the first civilian deaths in an assault since the bombing of a South Korean airliner in 1987.

The whole thing mystifies me.  You would think the people and the army would rise up and force regime change in the North.  Hard to fathom why they go on living the way they do there.

Here, next door in China, you have economic expansion like crazy and the North still hard-lining it.  Makes no sense to me.  I sort of get it that they don't like the South but why go on like this for 60+ years?  Pretty soon, no one will be alive from the time it all started...

11 Reasons Why North Korea Is The Most Bizarre Nation On Earth

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/11-reasons-why-north-korea-is-the-most-bizarre-nation-on-earth

As your all aware I often try to liven up, or stress the point I'm trying to make with an image of some sort. Looking for images can direct you to some interesting sites. Here's one I found earlier:

http://oppressionsucks.com/id12.html

Listed below are the actual voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States which are recorded in both the US State Department and United Nations' records:

Quote
Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time.
Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time.
Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time.
United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.
Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.
Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.
Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.
Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.
India votes against the United States 81% of the time.
Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.
Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

US Foreign Aid to those that hate us:

Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.

Jordan votes 71% against the United States and receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

Pakistan votes 75% against the United States receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

India votes 81% against the United States receives $143,699,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

For a critical examination of this article from an anoymous source see article from Snopes.
http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/outrage/unvote.asp
AND there's more from the same site.........

End All War.
Effects Of Illegal Immigration And How To Stop It.

That would save the US a small fortune.

Oh and no site would be complete without the obligatory  bit (quite a bit actually) of Obama bashing would it?
