For an accurate description of what is transpiring in the Middle East:

http://www.glennbeck.com/2011/02/03/connecting-extreme-socialism-and-extreme-islam/

They want a Caliphate:  http://www.thefreedictionary.com/caliphate

This is the destruction of Western civilization (i.e. Christian civilization) by the Islamists and Communists.

Get your gold and silver now and join your local Tea Party!

The world is about to change.

I'm fresh out of Jack Daniels, all I have is some Johnnie Walker Black Label.

Still have the prayer and the tranquilizers, hehehe.

Seriously, that is what is going on in Tunisia, Egypt, where else?  Was it Somalia as well?  Can't remember.

And here we have Obama working for the transfer of the Egyptian government from Mubarack.

Sheesh!

Egypt will become just another breeding ground for terrorism.

Things will get tense in world markets, I do believe.  They always do when Middle East tensions rise.  Hang onto your hats...

And if Egypt falls then where can you expect the next protests?

Iran.

And that will really send the stock world into turmoil as I expect Israel and the U.S. to take advantage of it next time and do away with the current regime.

No argument there.  Things can happen suddenly and set yer hat to spinning.  Fuel storage, cupboards, water, freezer, TP  and ammo all topped off here.  I'm good to go for a few months.  Brought my little box trailer home and setting it up to bug out if necessary, generator, emergency medical supplies and such pretty well situated

Now, we're past that I'm short the S & P futures near the close today.  Thought I would take a bit of a risk because Monday may prove interesting.  Today at the announcement of the numbers the thing went whacky for a bit and I watched a bunch of idiots who went long base on the leak that the numbers would be good ALL get stopped out.   Typical head fake BS.  So, I think it could get crazy for a bit but we need that to shake out some and it happens every so often.  so be it.  Just be on the right side OR don't panic.  The trend is still up but a big correction can occur.  Here, I refer you back the the "buy the dip" video.   Grin

Have a nice weekend I got temperature sensors beeping telling me to pull my pork and wrap so that's it for me. Man, I love BBQ.

VML up 3.57% today....

http://www.vaneminerals.com/press/pressview/342

"We are pleased that the Wate project continues toward development and, in our opinion, these new high-grade results continue to demonstrate the strength of the project.  The spot price of uranium oxide continues to improve at US$73.00/lb. VANE’s objective is to be in a position to help fulfill the growing demand for uranium as the permitting and construction of new reactors world-wide gathers pace and the ultimate fuelling of them becomes a reality. Drilling on our other JV projects, specifically the Roadrunner target, is underway and we anticipate that our 2011 drilling program on the JV lands will be in full swing by Q2."

Another “U” of mine, Forte Energy (FTE) also up 3.5% today.

Not as good as “Mawson” though. Up 10% so far today. That one was a “DEPLETED” pick ..
Well done “D.”   Wink

Some uraniums still going ok, a few are showing signs of burn out, and I expect them to fall anytime soon. Some Big Base metal Miners have already confirmed tops and are technically trending down, repeat trending down, at least from what my radar says. Call me an idiot, but I think the party will soon be over, once this Bear market reveals itself, and we will be back into small bear market rallies for profits. Watch out, and trade carefully.
Anyone else skeptical like me? I have that horrible feeling in my stomach, which usually means its time to act fast, and preserve what has been made.
Good Luck and good trading...Thanks Sunseeker for the vote of confidence on Mawson. Don't know how high they can go, just trying to spot a good entry point that the radar finds.

Hi "D"
It's always good to hear from you.
If you're wrestling with the problem then take enough money off the table to have a good nights sleep, plus just enough to do something memorable.

A favourite passage from one of my favourite books. Page 93 “Trade Like Jessie Livermore.”

http://books.google.to/books?id=ldJiR57yLooC&pg=PA93&lpg=PA93&dq=jesse+livermore+%2B%22It+was+the+friday%22&source=bl&ots=VXamH9sB3d&sig=r-SILXEtzIcUt_nvR7tVeBCC7MU&hl=en&ei=FBFUTa-eKdCwhQefk6iLCQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CBQQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false

I can't go into the bank and do what Jessie Livermore did, but I sometimes sell a large part or even all of my holdings so I can re-evaluate my strategies and my outlook on life. Clearing the mind of clutter every now and then helps see things more clearly and appreciate the things that really really matter.

Good luck.

Over $100 in 2011 if this guy from Pinetree is correct.

But then maybe he is just trying to get share interest to run up the price.

Good move on the agriculture ETFs.  Which ones?  What has the run up on them been in the last few months in anticipation?  What makes you think the share price has not already been realized?

On the Middle East, I think Iran will have revolution next and then in the middle of it Israel backed by the US steps in to put an end to the nuclear threat or Ahdemanutjob and Syria gets blasted to smithereens when they fire their new missiles at Israel.  Damascus gets it with an Israeli nuke.

Just my thoughts...   Cool

The things that really, really, really matter tend to be the things we lose sight of first...

Check out what is raising its ugly head again:

http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/304029/imf-pushes-chinese-yuan-sdr-basket

http://www.imf.org/external/np/exr/facts/sdr.htm

America has lost sight of what matters.

Washington thinks the game can go on forever the way they dictate.

It cannot.

Looking for “Bell Weather Indications” as to were the market might be heading?

My broker forwarded me something from Goldman Sachs. It's the most bullish forecast that you'll see or have seen for some time (excluding China and Russia).  Roll Eyes

Today I met two people who I know quite well. They're both so very risk adverse, but they were both pumping me for stock tips.
I never thought that I'd see the day.  Shocked

After some consideration as to what the implications of these two events might mean Huh
