I think we should start a new topic today...
I have just found a website where one can find the prices and charts of most commodities:
Here is one for uranium oxide:
http://www.infomine.com/investment/metalschart.asp?c=Uranium&r=3m
and for copper:

On Uranium price:
http://watch.bnn.ca/#clip167574
Quoted from Ray Goldie, senior analyst, Salman Partners
"Spot uranium price will hit US$150 in 2011"
That will be fantanstic for this small sector...

Peter....I use this site weekly to look at all commodities of interest.
http://futures.tradingcharts.com/menu.html
I cant remember if someone shared this on this board before or not, but it does provide some excellent technical analysis.
I am finding it very useful to follow the technical analysis of pros without interest/bias, because you cant trust ANY newsletter writer that recommends stocks to do TA.
Most dont operate strictly from a TA perspective only, but rather also look at the fundamentals (which is fine too and may be proven to be "right"), but I like to try and separate out the different disciplines. It removes alot of bias from the equation IMO.
Then I spend my time analyzing their analysis, instead of trying to start from scratch with my own. I get a nice education on current futures postion and TA at the same time, which can help alot with ones conviction I think.
When you get confirmation from 2 or 3 different disciplines going in the same direction, from different sources, then you have a great chance to really be onto something positive I think.

BF, Thanks. That is a good site too.
Someone predicts that the market would be a down day tomorrow and then it would go up in the week.
After analyzing the price actions, someone comments that MMs want to buy any pullback until short seller capitulate...
Therefore short sellers beware.
Some guys who have shorted the market from 750 until now have suffered a lot.
Really a trend can last much longer than one expected.
Let's see what tomorrow will bring to us.
Good luck.

Another uptick for spot uranium price...
==============================================
TradeTech's Exchange Value is $45.00 per lb U3O8.
Volume in the spot uranium market surged this month with 20 transactions reported. While buyers included utilities, producers, and intermediaries, utilities were the most active. In conjunction with the steep increase in volume, spot prices moved upward as well, with each successive deal concluded at a higher price than the last. The price rise was prompted by a steady increase in demand throughout the month. Recent transactions have removed the bulk of excess inventory that has overshadowed the market and buyers, sensing that the spot price may have bottomed, actively entered the market. Sellers reacted accordingly, quickly seizing the opportunity to raise offer prices. At month-end, new demand continues to emerge with five buyers seeking a total of approximately 2.1 million pounds U3O8 equivalent. TradeTech’s Exchange Value for April 30 is $45.00 per pound U3O8, an increase of $1.00 from last week’s Spot Price Indicator and up $3.00 per pound from the March 31 Exchange Value.

Today is a strong trend up day with a broad market rally. It is great to see most sectors have a positive return YTD, and S&P500 as well.
$NYSI has reached 1035, the same level as Dec 2007:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=
$NYSI&p=D&b=1&g=0&id=p40597151958
Any insight about this indicator? Seems very top?
Basic materials, energy, housing and financial sectors performed very well.
Hope all our accounts also perform very well today.
All the best.

I do so love the internet and the Banksta stories. There should really be a dime novel about all this as it was in the old west.

You just can't make this stuff up. A "pathological mutation" of capitalism
Quote
Goldman has grown another tentacle, designed to grab directly at the House Financial Services Committee chair Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass. The new top lobbyist, Michael Paese, was recently the top staffer to Frank. He has been a registered lobbyist for the Securities Industries and Financial Markets Association since he left Frank's committee in September." Like Damages and Dexter, you can't just make up a juicy plot like this.

Talk on GS, its stock is the strongest one amongst the banks.
Today if one bought GS May 130C at open, or at 12:30 pm, one would have a double at EOD.
Today is a crazy day, banks, solar energy, oil, natural gas, coal, casino, crox...

NM is not that far to Utah where DNN has the White Mesa milling operation. Maybe they got customers coming from Holland and the fatherland.

Range-bound market day after a huge gain yesterday.
Today Energy stocks perform worst.
The best performing sector is Casino stocks, like MGM, LVS, and WYNN
