The world has no shortage of idiots.  Yesterday or was it the day before (losing track of time and space, wonder what's up with that)  The Euro-trash and Asians were all giddy with delight and pumped up their markets along with us fools.  All of a sudden the dollar is in danger.  Geeessh.  make up your mind folks. 

They are like counterfeiters .... Oh wait;  all the world's currencies are counterfeit already.  I somehow missed that point. 

If it takes two of those dollar thingy's to walk out of the store with a loaf of bread or 200 makes no difference.  It shall remain relative to some degree, just in the interim some of us will be screwed senseless.  The unwashed, the naive, ............ the common man.  The salt of the earth, while the politicians around the globe play their dangerous game of plunder against their own citizens.  That's what it's about and as Bastiat said the plunder "will only stop when it becomes more painful than work."  Something few in government fully understand.

OH and George Ure's buddy Cliff High has declared a new "tipping point" in the linguistics venue.

The emotional tension level plateau is has grown. It had been previously forecast to start on the 8th, but now shows as beginning on November 5, 2010, at approximately 2:30 PM Pacific Coast Time (UTC =+ 8 ). Further, the plateau of building emotional tension now extends out further to the 14th of November instead of the 11th. This is the last building tension to accrue. Expect the level to stay maddeningly the same until the breaking point.

Repeat. The 'break' in the tension values that indicates the tipping point after which we (the planet of humans) is into emotional release language starts on November 14th at 6:50AM Pacific Coast Time (UTC=+ 8 ). Repeat - Tipping point starts on 11-14-2010.

So we have had conditions alter such that the plateau is now starting earlier and lasting nearly 3 days longer.This relates to the timing of the shift into release language, now we need to concentrate on the slightly more complex nature of the release period that follows the tipping point.

So maybe the war begins in earnest in a fortnight.  That's November 14th at 6:50 AM Pacific time.   Can't wait to read what they will have to say after this.  Then again, sooner or later they will be right.  (this happens every year.... the predictions that is)

Until today I had never even heard of Claude Frédéric Bastiat.

My word, you should read "The Law".  It can be downloaded here along with many of his other writing.  In fact this site is one of my primary sources for research into all sorts of books and documents and I highly recommended it to anyone along with the Gutenberg site below. Knowledge ha become about a free as it gets so there is no excuse which allows one to cease learning.  

Should you become more enlightened because of that one post I am very pleased.  we learn from one another and here we have a core group of decent intelligent people to draw from.  I take away far more than I contribute, so thanks to all of you and JDH for hosting this site.

The war of the currencies is ongoing and will influence the stock market and prices of precious metals. Recent movements showed that a falling dollar lifts the stock market and gold and a rising dollar does the opposite. The Feds printing of 600 billion is also intended to lower the value of the dollar against currencies of China, Japan and Europe thus boosting exports and reducing debt payments.

Europe has countered by tightening debt regulations and shifting risks to bond holders, causing surging bond yields of debt of Ireland, Portugal and Greece and highlighting the problems of the Euro,

During the last 5 months I see a correlation between a weaker dollar and rising precious metals and stocks.
