Considering where the mite reportedly originated from, how has Australia escaped virtually unscathed?

This kid could be held indefinitely under the NDAA just passed. This bill was hotly contested and people were in an uproar last month. Now it's signed into law and the sheeple have settled down and forgot all about it. Meanwhile we are on a course where before long people may simply disappear in the middle of the night. Remember, John McCain was a big factor in this bill being passed. He was the Republican presidential nominee last time. Not a bit of difference in him and three of the four candidates the Republican party offers the American people currently. The fourth candidate Rep Ron Paul will not get the nomination and it will be back to business as usual.

This is part of the reason I have very little hope for the nation going forward. I'm sorry but the great majority of the people seem to be simply ignorant or content to keep their head buried in the sand. It will take a HUGE educational process in order for most to understand what and how this has happened to the greatest nation in the history of man. Sad but, them's the facts.

On the lighter side, I want to share what I think is a really neat approach to putting together some good music.  Enjoy

SW, that's a great video, thanks.  You might be surprised how much a street musician can make.  A few years ago, I was in Saint Louis listening to some friends play jazz and during the break I asked one of them what had happened to the sax player that used to play with them.  I was told that now he does some night gigs but primarily does the street gig and can pull in about 3K in a good weekend.  Of course I imagine a street musician can only work about 8 months out of the year here then minus inclement weather.  I was, to say the least, floored.  That's a potential of 39 weeks making 3K a week for about 12 hours or so of work a week.

Nice work if you can get it!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlG8Nh76cW0

now about those sheeple...

How would you suggest making a change in the voice of the sheep?

At this point I would have to say the sheep will only learn their lesson the hard way.  Most just don't want to rock the boat and have some cultivated unreasonable fear of an unknown enemy.  I say that because so many I talk to say Ron Paul is dead on with his ideas EXCEPT foreign policy.  If that issue was off the table I think he would be far ahead in the polls by now.  SO, many are waking up but out of false fear looking to one of the other candidates to not smell so bad.

Steve Forbes said something tonight about another candidate coming into the scene.  Nothing would surprise me.  The Repubs and the Dems simply want "their" man in office.  One of them will have their way and it is both these parties that have brought us to this "end times" scenario collectively.  Still interesting to watch though.

The Judge certainly can make the case.  We MAY have 1/3 of the population thinking in about 5 years.

1/3 is certainly too much to hope for as that would be about 100 MILLION people.

Don't need that many!

Most people do not realize how easy it is to control the political landscape or any other landscape for that matter.

Roughly 200,000 or less precincts in the country.

All you need is about 110,000 in the country to control half of the precincts in either or both political parties and you control who gets elected to public office, for the most part.

Here is how it works.  It is the precinct committeemen in any given county who control the destiny of politics in that county.  The unknown fact is that in most of the country, precinct positions are not filled but vacant.  When this happens, it is the county chairman who gets to vote the electoral aggregate of those unfilled positions.
County chairmen have great power in the political process.  (and the people actually think they can change anything with their vote!!!! Hah!!)

It is the County party that determines who runs or does not run for office, for the most part.  If someone they do not want to run for office gets on the primary and then the general ballot then they can deny him/her much funds with which to run for election.  Very powerful office of the chairman and the party.

What you may have noticed lately is that Ron Paul knows this fact and has thousands of people running for precinct committeeman throughout the country.

It is the precinct committeemen and their vote who determine who the electors are for the party for the state convention which determines all the officials who will be in party leadership and also the congressional district representative to the state party.

It does not take many people to overthrow the government, they just have to know what they are doing...
