I hate to see all this good information getting lost in general threads like thought provoking!

I have a position in VANADIUM without even realising it (because I bought for other reasons).

VANE (VML)
Quote
“The Company has assembled a substantial portfolio of high-quality projects in the Colorado Plateau Uranium District in the southwestern US. The portfolio consists of projects in Utah and northern Arizona. The Utah projects cover stratabound uranium and uranium-vanadium hosted in the Chinle and Morrison Formations that have been significant producers. In Arizona, the projects are located on the Arizona Strip where uranium is hosted in solution-collapse breccia pipe”
POLO (POL)

Historic work (pre NI 43-101) in the 1950's estimated a resource of over 1 billion tonnes of iron ore at Clear Hills thus providing a good opportunity for Ironstone to increase its NI 43-101 resource significantly through its planned drilling campaign over the next few months. In addition Ironstone is due to extract a 20,000 tonne bulk sample as feed for a pilot plant later in the year as part of its work towards a feasibility study on Clear Hills. The project has also demonstrated significant vanadium by-product and gold assays in recent core samples suggesting the potential for further credits from those commodities.

Hi YC

On the subject of Lithium Batteries. VANADIUM.

“but because of the addition of vanadium to the cathode in that battery, you've got something that can produce more than six times the power.”

The storage medium in that cell is vanadium pentoxide dissolved in sulfuric acid, which effectively allows you to store industrial levels of energy. The largest vanadium-redox batteries out there are at megawatt levels, or millions of watts, power output. And they can output those millions of watts for hours at a time. They're very long-life batteries. They're deployed in a number of locations worldwide, but a number of them have been in service for years and, frankly, have not seen any significant degradation in their capabilities.

Premier of China and even famed multi-billionaire Warren Buffet, are all heralding what was once just a lowly steel-making ingredient  vanadium.

All elements have some use.
Have we got to the stage where they're (article writers and newsletters) are just looking at the periodic table, picking an element that's hardly ever talked about and touting it as the next big thing?

Uses....

Or just take your pick......

And surround it with a good story.

Although to be fair...
The one thing that most investment themes do have in common at present is that they're commodities. Something physical/tangable. Something that has use and value.

We all know why that is don't we?

All fiat currencies have a natural value of zero.
